Did you know that whenever there was object (pie here) throwing to be done and Moe wasn't in the shot, he was the thrower? Apparently, he was a sure-shot awesome random stuff thrower, and so, now you know (unless you knew already)

Nice picture of Moe as an anime character. That made wish the Three Stooges need to be adapted to an anime.

An anime version of Moe!
Every time I think of a show, or a group, or just about anything I like, I wonder, “what would they look like in anime?”
I remember when former AOTS host Kevin Rose received a picture of an anime character that looked like him, I think he said something about how there are anime doppelgängers of everyone!
I’m a huge fan of anime, and I like it when someone does an anime version of a person or a non-anime cartoon character.:w00t::w00t:

This is the best, that is an excellent portrait of Moe

The only thing missing from that pic is a word balloon reading, "I'll moider ya!"

Otherwise, excellently done.

awww what an adorable Moe.
You really did a terrific job with his depiction!

this would go under fanart, because it's fanart of an existing character in a tv show. Hope that helps ya

This picture of Moe in Anime form is so awsome and cute:w00t::w00t::w00t:

I always tried to draw Moe in my own version, but he still didn't look right so... I just drew my Mewtwo as him instead;p

:rose:TOTAL FAVE:rose:

PS: I named my Pokemon after the original four^^;

Moe the Mewtwo
Shemp the Raichu/Riachu
Larry the Charizard
Curly the Flareon

That's brilliant! I love it! Don't know what else to say, but it's on my FAVE list! I love the Three Stooges, particulary Larry, but that's just because I always fall in love with the middle characters in just about anything! I love Moe, though, don't get me wrong! If I could choose which stooge I wanted to have risen from the dead so I could talk to him for one hour, I'd pick Moe in all realities! Have you ever read Moe Howard and the Three Stooges? I bought the book on-line and I'm about half-way through it. It's wonderful! The guy was a high school drop out and he writes better than me! Then again, he was about seventy-five when he wrote it. It is his autobiography. It's great for any stooge fan to read, but it is the second most looked after book for stooge collectors (the 1977 version. his daughter finished the end for him since he died in '75) It is still being published today as to my knowledge. I'm not going to try to make you buy anyting, though. There is a website that posted up scenes from the first and second chapters of the book. It is at [link] The funny thing is you type Moe Horwitz into the google image search, but in reality it is spelled Horowitz! People can't spell his name write! Oh well!

Before I take up anymore of your time:

And violets are blue
Take a swig of this and

Holy crap, someone who understands me!

Yeah, pretty much everything about the autobiography is true; I read all of it, actually... possibly been five years now, but I am regretting that I haven't brought it to Orlando with me (it's really valuable to me, and I didn't want to rick it getting damaged or even stolen). I always admired Moe the most because of all he went through to keep the group going and all that he had to sacrifice. Man, when I discovered he died, I think I cried for a good WEEK!

If I could just TALK with him, on a personal level, then God, I think my life would have been complete.

As for his last name, I get different things, so I don't know which one is right anymore! LOL

Well, thanks for your time. I've been wanting to do a picture in dedication to all six stooges (even Joe Besser), but I have yet to come up with something that's worthy of it... oh well, I'll get around to it someday. Thanks again!

He was Jewish. His parents were from Luthuania (spelling?) in the late 1800s. You know how it was over there at that time (and if you don't, look at the consentration during WW2). His parents moved to America in about 1890. Their real last name was Gorwitz, but when asked to give their name to the...guy that would let them in the country? I don't know what it's called. But when asked to give their name, in their thick accents, it came out sounding like Horowitz. That was what they were called until Moe and Shemp started vaudeville acts together. They called the act Howard and Howard - Howard and Howard does sound SO much better than Horowitz and Horowitz. They were known as Howards after that.

Same with Larry. His real last last name was Feinberg, but for a little more show business glitz, he changed it to Fine.

An anime Moe, never imagined such a thing myself.

In all honest, considering how the image itself looks, I would stick it in fanart, Portraits would be for something more realistic, but that's just me.
chibigingi Featured By Owner Dec 18, 2004  Student Traditional Artist
I wouldn't know- most of the stuff I do is fanart (maybe that's a hint that I should get out of the fanart category? LOL).

Thanks for the comment.
