Based off of the fan theory that Knock Out was a flyer on Cybertron and "chose" his automobile form once making it to Earth. Just my interpretation how he and Breakdown could have met; KO, liking what he sees, is offering BD a chance to be his assistant and being a rather suave douchebag about it. Could at least cut him out of the chains first, KO...
