The Great Race, Part 3 of 5

"There came a thunderous sound and all looked as the Horse came galloping through the shallows. However, as the Horse drew close, he spotted the Snake that had wrapped itself around his leg and gave a panicked cry. The Snake jumped from the Horse's leg and hissed, forcing the Horse to back away, and the Snake received the 6th year and the Horse reluctantly took the 7th year."

I think the camera's flash is present here, but I'll likely go back and retake the picture in a better lit room to prevent the flash from being seen. That snake is meant to be a Multibanded krait, though the coloration is off. I believe the yellow-green bands are suppose to be smaller, but would it matter what kind of snake is wrapped around your leg? You'd want it off.

Unless you're into that kind of thing. *eyebrow wraggle*

Horse's anatomy is off, they're so freakin' complicated to draw at times. But I wanted to put more focus on the facial expression of the horse, which I think I did fairly well.

Oils on 18 x 24 canvas.
